Saturday 29th May – Levy Market Shop & Go – All the Stalls

All the details for our award-winning market in Levenshulme on Saturday 29th May, 10am to 4pm. Find us on the Levenshulme train station car park, M19 3AB.

The weather! It finally looks like it’s… well, not exactly blistering, but warm and, crucially, non-rainy.

As usual, you’ll be able to pick up some of your weekly shop this Saturday, with cheeses, eggs and butter from Winter Tarn, rare breed meats from Savin Hill, wine and coffee from Allons-Y, honey from Haughton Honey and soaps, shampoos and other bathroom products from Forever Planet.

We’re also very excited to welcome back Heart & Parcel, a local organisation which uses food as a way to develop English language and employability skills. Alongside their incredible cookbook they will also be selling jams and pickles made by their learners as part of their training projects. You’ll also meet some of their learners helping out at the market to help develop their English in a practical way – so come and have a chat with them! All money made at this market stalls will go straight into free English classes for local communities.

And you’ll also find secondhand books from Greenhouse Books, gourmet dog treats from Hugo & Co. childrens’ clothing from Youngheartscollection, cacti and succulents in decorative pots from The Cactus Parlour and a bounty of other indie shopping picks.

For your weekend sweet treats, we have ice cream from Ginger’s Comfort Emporium, incredible brownies from Lush Brownies and doughnuts from Culinary Concept.

And for your luxury lunchtime, prepare your palate for panzeroti pizza from Fritto, burritos from Meksikan, Sri Lankan curries from Archchi’s and a whole load more.

And REMEMBER, while hospitality may be opening up, for the time being we’re still being cautious and running things with our Shop & Go model, which means a one-in-one-out system for customers. Please follow our guidelines below, avoid eating, drinking or congregating when you visit and then exiting with your purchases so other can enter and enjoy the market. If you’re new to Levy Market Shop & Go you can find out more info here.

Please remember to follow our guidance to make sure you and everyone else stays safe. Although there’s no legal requirement for people to wear face coverings when outdoors we do advise customers do so.
