Bridgeford Street Market

As well as operating a weekly market in Levenshulme, we also run a lunchtime market in Central Manchester each Tuesday.

We are currently taking bookings for these markets.

What is the Bridgeford Street Market?
Bridgeford Street Market is a market takes place on UoM campus once a week. These are lunchtime markets which run every Tuesday during term time 11:30am-2:30pm. You can see the dates the market is open here.

Where is Bridgeford Street
These markets take place at the top of Bridgeford Street, right next to Manchester Museum, just off Oxford Road.

Who can trade at Bridgeford Street?
As these are food markets, we can only take bookings from those of our traders who sell food and drink. As they take place on the campus of University of Manchester we’re not licenced to sell alcohol at this market, so can’t accept bookings from traders looking to sell booze. There is a maximum of 1400W available at Bridgeford Street and trading spaces are limited.

NOTE: When it comes to processing Bridgeford Street bookings, we tend to prioritise those traders who have traded with us at Levenshulme Market or those who have forthcoming bookings with us. Why? Because Bridgeford Street is a great way of showcasing what Levy Market has to offer by bringing our traders into the heart of Manchester while also bringing in customers from further afield.

How much is the stall fee?
Stall fees vary depending on the nature of your stall. You can see our current stall fee list here.

Once we email to confirm your booking we will send through and link and a deadline for stall fee payment.

How do I book a stall?
When bookings are open you can make an application via our webshop which can be found here.

Terms and conditions
