We’re shortlisted! Thanks for the nom, MFDF!

We love our foodie markets, and it seems that others do too! The lovely people at the Manchester Food and Drink Festival (MFDF) 2015 have been so kind as to include Levenshulme Market in its shortlist for Best Food and Drink Pop Up Event – hurray!

Naturally, we’re absolutely chuffed to bits to be nominated for a foodie award along with the likes of the Moss Cider Project, Shebeen and Blackjack Brewtap. Also, a MASSIVE thanks to the fantastic food and drinks traders who feed the hungry masses every week – you’re awesome!

If you like what we do and you have a second, we’d love for our market customers and traders to give us a vote – you can do so through this link to the MFDF website. While you’re there, you can also cast your vote in the other categories, which include Restaurant of the Year and Cheap Eats of the Year.

Voting closes on 10th September and it all gets decided on 21st September at a fab-sounding event held at Manchester Cathedral, when votes from the public will be combined by scores from an expert judging panel, made up of food experts and critics. The judges will also be making mystery shop visits, so make sure you’re all stuffing your faces and making the right ‘mmmm’ noises at at our next food and drink market on 8th August!

You can find out more about the Manchester Food and Drink Festival and all the delicious-sounding events taking place between 10th and 21st September by visiting the website.
