Our ‘original’ style market for the month will be held on Saturday 24th October 2015, 10am to 4pm, on the Levenshulme train station car park.
For our last market of October, we’ve brought together a wonderful selection of traders from all corners, to fill our marketplace with ‘anything and everything’. We have beautiful handmade goods, from upcycled workwear and modern ceramics to hand-drawn illustration and natural cosmetics and skincare.
It’s also Levenshulme Language Day, which we’re celebrating with live multi-lingual music courtesy of the Lingua Franca World Music Agency and some other fun and games. More details here…
Plus – as usual – we’ve rustled up a global smorgasboard of foodie bits too – mac n cheese, gyoza and kimchi, Burmese curries and loadsa puds – including Italian cakes, chocolate brownies and – OBVIOUSLY – cake. AND your staples are all here – cheese, eggs, bread, veg, wine and organic meat – we’ve got the lot and it’s all waiting for you to come gobble!
As always, please feel free to drop off any in-date dried and canned food, plus toiletries, at our green gazebo on Saturday, where we’re collecting for Burnage Foodbank. For details of what’s needed and where it all goes – take a peek here and many thanks for your generosity.
Meanwhile, here are all the traders to say hello to on Saturday:
