After the bad weather forced us to cancel last week’s market we’re back with a festive vengeance this Saturday, popping up in Levenshulme train station car park with a bumper selection of Christmas gift options from some of Manchester’s finest makers, as well as some fine food and drink and some special yuletide entertainment.
You’ll find three wise local Levy lunchtime kings: Rack serving up grilled cheese sandwiches, The Little Sri Lankan with a range of authentic Sri Lankan short eats, the finest hummus in Manchester from MusMus and plenty more.
We’ll have some very special dessert options, with Ginger’s Comfort Emporium who will have limited edition tubs of an exclusive Levenshulme Market ice cream, made using honey from local Levy beehives.
For those crucial Christmas shopping – we’ve got you covered. vegan baking sets, indie cider gift sets, Fair Isle knitwear, artworks, cards, jewellery and plenty more. All of it unique, hand-made and locally sourced.
We’ll even have a range of custom guitars on sale, courtesy of Rigby Guitars.
And don’t forget your Christmas supplies: you’ll find cheese, butter and eggs from Winter Tarn, incredible wines at great prices from Vinobuono and sauces and seasonings from DevilDog Sauces.
We’re also thrilled to bring the Manchester University Music Society to the market – they’ll be performing carols from 12pm so head to your friendly local community market for a particularly festive lunchtime.
