For our very last one of August, we’re going HUGE with live music and kids fun. We have a sterling selection of amazing artisans, crafters, makers and street food chefs (just take a look below at the cracking lineup) but we also have BIG FUN planned for you…
Nature Explorers is back!
Fling the kids into a nature-based arts and crafts adventure at the market, with the marvellous Mud Pie Academy. Their fabulous kids club is back on 25th August from 10am-4pm, it’s just £1 to join in the fun and there promises to be loads of it – previous Nature Explorers have involved dinosaur gardening, painting with red cabbages and lots more!
There’s more art-based fun for the kids too, as much-loved regular ‘the picture man’ John Pindar Arts is also on hand from 10-4pm with his printmaking kit. Again, the bargain price of just £1 a child to join in.
Live music from Honey We Three – at 1pm
We’ve got more live music at the market! Your musical treat for this one is Honey We Three, a three piece folk group based in South Manchester. With rich soulful songwriting and exquisite harmonies, expect a beautiful blend of country and Americana roots derived from backgrounds of Irish traditional music and blues. This sounds bloomin’ lovely, the perfect soundtrack to your Saturday at the market. Don’t miss it!
