We’ve partnered with Station South to offer the community a free bicycle service and repair service.
Have YOU recently found yourself wanting to cycle more? With so many of us spending a lot more time in our local neighbourhoods over the past year and the roads being quieter, cycling has never seemed more appealing.
Perhaps you’re a regular cycler looking to give your ride a tune-up. Or maybe you have children with bikes and you’re not sure how to go about making sure they’re safe. Or perhaps you have an underloved bike, its tyres leaking air and its handles gathering cobwebs.
Well, now is the time to bring it back out into the daylight. Changing the way you travel can go a long way in helping to protect the environment, with a journey taken via bike rather than using a car helping to reduce air pollution. Staying active is also good for your physical and mental health and can even save you money.
Whatever your level or background, our good pals at Station South will be at Levenshulme Market providing free basic fix-ups as part of the Cycling UK’s Big Bike Revival.
