We’re looking for a Market Manager to join our thriving social enterprise, a community-run market in the heart of Levenshulme.
Hours: 15 hours p/w
Pay: Above the Living Wage
Job Type: Permanent, part-time
The role
This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins and oversee the efficient running of the market, as well as handling communications and marketing across a number of platforms. It’s a varied, challenging and rewarding role, so we’re looking for someone who is resourceful, adaptable and with a high level of self-organisation.

About us
You’ll be joining a small, motivated team of operational staff and volunteer directors, sharing our passion for the very special thing we’ve created here in Levenshulme.
We deliver a high quality artisan and food market every weekend, including our popular monthly night markets and during term-time, a weekly pop-up market at The University of Manchester. We also create a valuable social space for our customers, support local organisations and use our profits to invest back into the market and the community.
Our offer
You will be paid above the Living Wage and receive benefits including the equivalent of 5.6 weeks paid holiday and eligibility for a workplace pension.
You’ll spend some time working in our office in Levenshulme, as well as working flexibly at times that work for you.
