Our socially distanced age can often feel a little, well, muffled, with all the touching and handling that used to be a big part of the shopping experience fast becoming a distant memory. This Saturday, we’ll have some items you can buy, take home and enjoy squeezing, caressing and fondling to your heart’s delight – whether that’s the smooth glaze of a bowl from The Chorlton Potter, the weave of a macramé wall-hanging from Cpmancrame, the dainty feel of an item of limited edition jewellery from Little Sculptures, or the plush softness of a handmade teddy bear from brand new trader The Stitch Sisters.
We’ll also have the usual tip-top food and drink shopping for you – cheese, butter and eggs from Winter Tarn, rare breed meats from Savin Hill, wine on tap from VinoBuono and plenty more.
