Saturday 3rd October – Levy Market Shop & Go – All the Stalls

All the details for our award-winning market in Levenshulme on Saturday 3rd October, 10am to 4pm. Find us on the Levenshulme train station car park, M19 3AB.

The truth can no longer be avoided – too many leaves are dropping from the trees, there are too many coats and hats being worn and the urge to sit with a blanket over your knees is too strong to resist: autumn is undeniably here.

And to help you experience the season in all its glory we’ll have a range of chunky knitwear from Dr Zinsky this weekend, found amid the heady aromas of Cedar whose hand poured candles include a range of seasonal scents such as orange, clove and cinnamon from, and of course the perfect pies from HMPasties for your fireplace supper.

We’ll also have yet another crop of the north’s finest street food traders luxury-ifying your lunchtime, with tacos from Meksikan, pizza from Cibus, and Maison Breizh who return to once again wow Levenshulme with their galettes an crêpes.

We’ll also have sweet treats in the form of brownies from Lush Brownies, ice-cream from Ginger’s Comfort Emporium, great big slabs of choc from Cocoa-Nut Grove and cake from Swan Kitchen.

And, as ever, you can also get plenty of your weekly shopping done, with meat from Savin Hill, wine from VinoBuono, eggs and butter from Winter Tarn Dairy, and pies, pasties and sausage rolls from HMPasties.

We also have a double bill of community stalls. Clean Air Levenshulme will be at the market. Throughout each of our October markets we’ll also be taking donations for Every Month, a charity which puts together period packs for those people experiencing poverty in Greater Manchester. So bring along your menstrual pads, non-applicator tampons, applicator tampons and other tampons/pads/liners. These will be made up into period packs and distributed around Greater Manchester where they are needed. You can find all the info you need here.

And DON’T FORGET: Levy Market is currently Levenshulme Market Shop & Go. That means no eating, drinking or socialising at the market. Instead, we ask that you support our traders by making your purchases and then head home to enjoy them. You can find out more info here.
