All the details for our market in Levenshulme on Saturday 30th October, 10am to 4pm. Find us on the Levenshulme train station car park, M19 3AB.
It’s the spookiest time of the year! We’ll be celebrating Halloween this year by doing what we do best: gathering some of the North West’s best independent makers for a bumper market.
We’re joined by a very special guest this week. Manchester Voices is a research project exploring the rich tapestry of accents, dialects, and identities that make up Greater Manchester. They’ll be bringing their Accent Van to Levenshulme as part of their tour around the region to create database of hyperlocal accents. So come down to the market and bring your voice answer some questions about your accent and what you think about it.
And while you’re here, you might as well grab some lunch, eh? The good news is you’ll find Afro-Brit street food from BON Street Food, sourdough pizza from Rise, loaded burgers from Food Rebels and plenty more.
For those all important sweet treats, we’ll have a pick ‘n’ mix sweets stall from Bex Crafts, some very special cakes from brand new trader Cakesy, ice cream from Ginger’s Comfort Emporium and gorge-worthy doughnuts from Culinary Concept.
And you’ll find plenty o seasonally appropriate shopping picks, with spooky cards and artworks from Fly by Night, Smash and Grab, MushyPeaDesign and others, pottery items from Daniel Smyth Studio and SoStrangeArt, cocktails from Miss Jackson’s Drinks Company, vintage items from Hoolala, jewellery from Third Eye of Newt, Audrey + George and Curious Shapes, and of course pies from HMPasties, cheese and butter and eggs from Winter Tarn. And while you browse, why not pick up a coffee from Coffee Cranks or a cheeky afternoon pint from The Market Bar.
