No way, it’s not September already! Good job we’ve got some mega fun distractions in store this week so you don’t feel sad about summer being on the way out. Kids, don’t think about the S-word! Put it off for a little longer and come along to all day long Lego Club while all the grown-ups chill out to some fab live music, top notch shopping and yummo grub.
Live tunes from The Speed of Sound at 1pm
We’re extremely excited to host The Speed of Sound as our live band this week, performing from 1pm. Expect melancholic and tuneful off-centre psych-pop and underground rock from this experienced Manchester band. Really looking forward to this one!
Lego Club is back, and ALL DAY LONG!
The Build It! team are back next to the railway tunnel from 10am with tables groaning with Lego boards, bricks, bits and of course – random characters from film franchises.
Join in any time you like from 10am to 4pm for just £1 a child or £2 an adult. Get your hand stamped and you can pop off for a Mio Pizza and come back again later (once you’ve wiped those cheesy hands!). The Lego Club team even have some Lego-inspired jewellery and badges to browse too.
