Our last one in July is a BLINDER. We’ve got a simply enormous stall list packed with old favourites, brand new stalls, amazing street food and beautiful handmade items you won’t find anywhere else. There’s absolutely loads to sink your teeth into, from chargrilled oysters and fresh fruit smoothies to Fairtrade African baskets to plastic-free reusable homewares.
Send the kids to John Pindar Arts for £1 printmaking (a total bargain) while you browse, he’ll have his rollers, stencils, ink and enthusiasm ready for those budding little artists from 10-4pm.
Live music from THE Manchester bluesman!
This week’s live music treat is Rik Warren, singer, guitarist and blues harmonica virtuoso, and a founder member of two of the most exciting bands on the Manchester scene at the moment – Honeyfeet and Walk.
As a solo artist, Rik has a sound entirely of his own. Laconic vocals float beautifully on top of effortless fingerpicked blues guitar, which is both energetic and melodic in equal measures. Quite simply, Rik Warren is THE Manchester bluesman – catch him performing LIVE at Levy Market at 1pm!
