Saturday 19th December – Levy Market Shop & Go – All the Stalls

All the details for our award-winning market in Levenshulme on Saturday 19th December, 10am to 4pm. Find us on the Levenshulme train station car park, M19 3AB.

Here it is, our final market of 2020!

Ordinarily, this would be a big blow-out night market community party as we say goodbye to the year. But, as you probably know all too well by now, this year is a little different, and we’re instead running a regular ol’ Shop & Go market for you to pick up your Christmas shopping and takeaway treats from some of your favourite local independent businesses.

We have some top-notch options for your lunchtime, including Meksikan, Samosa Shack and Levy locals The Sri Lankan Experience and Cibus, and cake, bakes and brownies from Cake Loves Cake and Lush Brownies.

You can also pick up plenty of your food for the holidays, with cheese, eggs and butter from Winter Tarn Dairy, pies from HMPasties and beers from our Market Bottle Shop.

We’ll also have Ginger’s Comfort Emporium who have been bringing a new and exclusive festive flavour to the market each week. We’ve already had Panettone and Black Forest Gateau, both of which you can still get your hands on, and this week we’ll have 500ml tubs of Christmas pudding flavour ice-cream.

And, boy, do we have some Christmas gifts for you to choose from this week, with bath and body products from new trader Ecopia Stockport, dried florals arrangements from Florist Rookie, handmade silver jewellery from Made With Love in Lancashire, handmade clothing and accessories from Vanisha’s Design Boutique, Uva and Where the Flowers Grow, homewares from Well Hung Designs and Cpmancrame and, well, loads more.

And REMEMBER, the Christmas music you’ll hear wafting through the market reaches your ears via Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, who has assembled a formidable Christmas playlist which you can also enjoy once you return home from the market. Please make a donation to the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity which provides support for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

And ALSO REMEMBER: Levy Market is still operating as Levenshulme Market Shop & Go. That means no eating or drinking at the market, as well as no stopping around to socialise. Instead, we ask that you support our traders by making your purchases and heading off to enjoy them in the safety of you own home. You can find out more info here.

Please remember to follow our guidance to make sure you and everyone else stays safe.
