OMG – we’re absolutely thrilled to be able to say WE’RE BACK.
Our first market of the year will take place on Saturday 17th April and we’ll be popping up with an utter corker of a Levy Market Shop & Go. Prepare to once again encounter comforting familiar favourites as well as discovering some cracking brand new traders.
Since last year we’ve been keen to give our community the opportunity to do their weekly shop at the market where possible – out in the fresh air, purchasing produce touched by fewer hands due to a shortened supply chain, and supporting small independent businesses during a difficult period. All good things.
So we’re thrilled to welcome Bernie’s Groceries to the market – they’ll be selling their responsibly sourced range of fruit, vegetables, bread and other groceries – so bring your shopping bags! They’ll be joining us alongside HMPasties whose pies, pasties and sausage rolls you’ll want to stock up on, and VinoBuono whose wine on tap, all sourced directly from small Italian vineyards, is always a big hit. You’ll also find natural soap, skincare and more from Forever Planet; Filipino meal kits, sauces and more from almighty local legends Mama Z; and of course Winter Tarn, the return of whose cheese, butter and eggs we know our community have been eagerly awaiting.
We also have a range of tip-top lockdown lunchtime options for you: pizza and calzone from local legends Cibus; Indian street food from Chiit Chaat; burritos from Meksikan; authentic Sri Lankan dishes from brand new local Levy trader The Little Sri Lankan; and plenty more.
We’ll also have cakes from Marzipan, and, as requested by a great many of our younger customers, we’ll also have ice cream available at *every market* for the rest of the year, this week from the great Exclusive Scoop.

Although lockdown restrictions are being eased, we are still in a pandemic. So, for the time being we’ll be continuing to run things with our Shop & Go model, which means operating the market as a closed site with a one-in-one-out system for customers.
