Saturday 10th March – IWD 2018 – Levenshulme – All The Stalls

Our rescheduled (due to poor weather last weekend) first market of the year in Levenshulme takes place on Saturday 10th March 2018, 10am to 4pm. Find us on the Levenshulme train station car park, M19 3AB.

Ok, let’s try this again. We were supposed to be back with a bang for 2018 last Saturday 3rd March, but The Beast from the East had other plans! We sadly had to cancel due to concerns about safety in the freezing temperatures, so we’re holding the Re-Re-Launch THIS SATURDAY instead – AND it’s an International Women’s Day Special!

Live music and an art exhibition in the tunnel

In the spirit of celebrating IWD 2018, look forward to live music from talented Levenshulme duo Emma and Katy Patchwood, plus Manchester musician Heidi Dewhirst – and maybe even a special guest or two!

Over in the railway tunnel – one of the main entrances to the market from Levenshulme Station and The Street With No Name – local artist Vicky Boylan will be holding an art exhibition. Among the works to be showcased in this unique and unusual ‘exhibition space’ will be WOMANchester, a piece created for Manchester International Festival – celebrating women of Manchester who’ve had a significant impact on the city.

Last chance to enter our logo competition!

If you haven’t yet designed your own special edition logo for our 5 Year Celebration competition, hop to it! We’ve extended the deadline for entries to this Saturday 10th March.

To help you with inspiration, ideas and art supplies is The Owl and The Coconut CIC – running a free mindful art workshop from 10am to 2pm at the market this Saturday. Head here to find out how to enter our competition and potentially win yourself some goodies!
