We do not require any payment at this time. By adding this trading date to your basket and proceeding, you are submitting the details of your stall to us and informing us of your availability and interest. We will get in touch separately to confirm your bookings and send you a payment link and a deadline by which to pay your stall fee.
If we are unable to accommodate you on this date, you will add you to a waiting list and get be in touch in the event of any cancellations.
You can add multiple dates to your cart – you don’t need to check out after adding each one. The website should also remember the items you’ve saved in your cart, so you can navigate back to the list of dates in another way and your previously added dates should still be in your cart.
You can find a list of our stall fees and cancellation fees here.
Cancellation of a stall by a trader (must be done by email only):
Up to ten days before trading date – the stall fee will be refunded minus admin fee
Less than ten days before trading date – no refund due, the full stall fee will be retained
If we are forced to cancel a market due to adverse weather (force majeure): the stall fee will be refunded minus admin fee
Bridgeford Street Market operates on Bridgeford Street in Central Manchester. You can find more information on these markets here.
We require stall fees for a calendar month at a time (i.e. all your confirmed trading dates in March) to be paid in advance. This applies to all market types.
When your bookings are confirmed by us via email, we will also provide you with a payment schedule and deadline dates. Anyone who has not paid the required amount by the deadline date will have all of their bookings for the calendar month cancelled and offered to the next trader on the waiting list.
In addition to your stall fee we also need proof of your public liability insurance with cover of at least £5 million and of your food hygiene certificate if you’re planning to sell food or drink.
