We are BACK at the University of Manchester ready for the brand new academic year, with not one but TWO Welcome Week specials!
Here’s what’s happening, where and when…
Friday 16th September 2016, 5-9pm – Night Market at the UoM Student Union
To kick things off, we’re throwing a foodie party right behind the University of Manchester Students Union building, just off Oxford Road – have a look at a map here, or just look out for our lovely white gazebos! We are BURSTING with lip-smacking street food, from some of the best traders and culinary wizards in Manchester. Students can join us from 5pm (there’s a World Quiz going on at the SU round about then too) but anyone else with a hungry tum is more than welcome to stop on by! The full trader list can be found here.
Tuesday 20th September 2016, 11.30am-2.30pm – Lunchtime Market on Bridgeford Street
Our Tuesday lunchtime markets were a huge hit during spring and summer, so we’re bringing ’em back for the new term. We’ll have 18 stalls packed with yummy lunch options, as well as cakes, produce, ethical coffee and more, EVERY TUESDAY from the 20th September all the way up to Christmas. Staff and students alike can come along for a nibble on Bridgeford Street, right next to the Manchester Museum (click here for map). Check out the full mouth-watering trader list here, and enjoy a sneak peek of their delicious goodies below…
