It’s nearly night market time! Our Summer Night Market Party will be held on Friday 29th July 2016, 4pm to 9pm, on the Levenshulme train station car park.
We are SO excited about this one. It’s a street food special, which means that you can dive into all of the delicious goodies shown below. We have this incredible trader list, but also lots of other FUN STUFF to tell you about…
FREE kids party – 5-7pm
Levenshulme kids party specialists PepperPop Parties are throwing a free bash for the children from 5-7pm with games, music and lots of fun. Come along and head for our big white inflatable party tent to join in!
Games for grown-ups – 7-9pm
It’s not all about the small ones at our night market. Oh no, we have plenty of fun and games in store for all you big kids too. We’re delighted to reveal that Levy Market will be hosting Box Society, a special urban game created by Full Circle Arts + Playfuel. Here’s the deal:
“Box Society is a game about our society — the pressure to fit in and the hurdles we face navigating our daily lives with different means and abilities. Players guide their Boxes through 9 ridiculous and arbitrary challenges to bring them into the ‘Larger Society of Boxes’. But that will only happen if all the paperwork is complete and the bureaucrats’ exacting standards are met!”
Full Circle Arts is a disabled-led organisation which works to involve those who are excluded from the arts. Box Society is a collaboration with urban game designers Playfuel, who create games that ask questions about the world. The game will take place in the marketplace between 7 and 9pm – just turn up and join in!
