Saturday 29th April 2017 – Levenshulme – All the Stalls

Our next market in Levenshulme takes place on Saturday 29th April 2017, 10am to 4pm on the Levenshulme train station car park.

First of all, massive thanks to all who took part in the Community Action Day on the Street With No Name last Saturday. We had a visit from BBC Radio Manchester, the charming Lord Mayor of Manchester and everything was left looking SPARKLING and ready for some planters!

Now, onto this Saturday! We’ve got a jam packed one for you – come along for nearly 45 stalls packed with artisan, handmade goods and delicious food, plus…

The return of Lego Club – 10am to 12 noon

It’s back! Build It! Lego Clubs and Parties are hefting their enormous bags of bricks and bits over to the market this Saturday for a mega fun building sesh from 10am to 12noon. Just £1 for kids to join in the session, and adults can join in too for just £2. Plonk yourself down anytime during the session and get your hand stamped so you can pop over for a pizza and come back again.

Live music from Ben Williams at 1pm!

Even MORE live tunes for you this Saturday, from the marvellous Ben Williams – performing live at 1pm!

A Manchester based singer-songwriter who moulds the classic song-writing sound of Paul Simon with the laid back nature of Jack Johnson, Ben Williams is a difficult artist to pigeonhole and is all the better for it. His second album ‘Put It On Ice’ was released in February 2017. Completely self-penned and featuring a selection of the finest musicians in Manchester, Williams has delivered a gem of an album. Often quirky, sometimes funny, and occasionally more reflective, the songs demonstrate a fantastic range of approaches and ideas. Check him out here.

Now, all the goodies you can buy and fill your face with (make sure you get those the right way round) in Saturday’s stonking trader list…
