£10 per hour
SHIFTS AVAILABLE
- Saturdays, March – December:
- 6.30am – 10.30am
- 7.00am – 6.00pm (with two hour unpaid break)
- 3.30pm – 6.30pm
- Occasional Fridays
We work out our rotas around staff availability, so staff do not need to commit to being available every weekend. It is a condition of the role that staff are reliable when they are assigned a shift.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the continued success of a unique social enterprise and work with a team of casual and contracted staff in a fun outdoor environment.
Casual workers will report to the Senior Market Operative to manage the safe and effective delivery of our market events by ensuring that markets are erected, carried out and dismantled in a timely, efficient, safe and professional manner. Applicants should be fit and in good health as the roles require strenuous physical activity.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Day to Day Duties
- Setting up of market gazebos and electrics and taking responsibility for ensuring that all tasks on the Market Day Duties checklist are completed in a timely manner.
- Other tasks as required by the role on an ad hoc basis.
