The big mama of market really delivers with it’s food and drink and, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a takeaway treat from a market – so take a look at the listings of food and drink traders for this week below and don’t forget to check out our line up of more eclectic, craft, home-y, vintagey sellers and listings for the street food and bar offering for when you JUST. CAN’T. WAIT.

Abbey Leys Farm – The lovely Lindsay is back with her organic fruit and veg – grown locally by the lady herself it’s a seasonal, guilt-low, taste-high bonanza.

Bobby’s Bangers -Can you buy award-winning sausages at Levy Market? WELL YES YOU CAN!  @bobbysbangers and @msbobbysbangers serve up free range pork sausages, bacon, burgers, black puddings and more.

Case Solved Wines Ltd -There is no doubt that a day out at Levy begets a quiet night in with a bottle for you and yours – and Adrian is on the case…literally – bottles and cases of quality wine, with around half of his range from certified organic estates. @CaseSolvedWines

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf – Truly exceptional freshly roasted coffee beans, ground while you wait, and organic speciality teas in silk bags

Little Italy kitchen – The nicest Neapolitan in South Manchester is back in Levy with his lip smacking selection of homemade seasonal Italian foods, cakes and sauces – venison-stuffed brioche, anyone? @andreadellos

lushbrownies – the *most* sumptuous, indulgent brownies in a range of flavours you can’t miss – top tip: try the salted caramel blondies – you’ll never look at a brownie the same way again @lushbrownies

Market Spices – A fantastic range of herbs, spices, curry mixes and spice related gifts backed up with Jane’s specialist knowledge on herb and spice blends. @marketspicessto

Parched Tea Bar -Lovely Marcy sells packets of ethically sourced loose leaf tea in packets designed by artists – meaning you can take home a work of art and a decent brew in one go – plus tea accessories and a cuppa to drink as you shop @parchedteabar

Pudding and Pie – Any real Mancunian knows it’s not good shopping unless there’s a decent pie somewhere in the mix – and PnP oblige in abundance – with slab pies, hot and cold wonders and mini pies – all made with great, fresh ingredients and a lotta Manc love. @PuddingPieCafe

Robinsons Bakery – If you know Levy Market you should know Robinsons by now – superlative bakes – bread, Manchester tarts – sweet and savoury and lots of treats all made by hand! @robinsonsbakery

Sam Joseph Chocolates –  Hand made, high quality artisan chocolates and patisserie items from this exciting new seller. @samjosephchocs

Savin Hill Farm and Butchery -MEAT STOP! Savin Hill sell the finest rare breed British beef, middlewhite and saddleback pork, lamb and mutton – plus, if you’re feeling pecking they’ll fling a steak burger or a Cumberland sausage your way @SavinHillFarm

Sue Lee’s Spring Rolls – Homemade Chinese spring rolls to take home and put in the over. Trust us when we say that these beauties bear no resemblance to those flabby things of takeaway nightmares – crisp, fresh ingredients and flavours and so big they’re a meal in themselves! @therealsuelee

The Moocher -Lovely locals mixing their passion for good food with the highest quality ingredients to make delicious home-made sausage rolls, scotch eggs, potted game and more, including pork scratchings we’ve seen people fight over. @themoocherfoods

The Smokey Carter – GET SAUCY! Sauces, spices and spice rubs from @thesmokeycarter

Trove – Levenshulme’s very own Food and Drink Award winners and market favourites  selling beautiful loaves and pastries – all made in Levenshulme and usually all gone before lunch – and they will be at every Levy market this summer – we’re so excited to have them!! @trovebakery

Winter Tarn Farm -Jeremy or “Will the cheese man be there?!” as he is known by friends of the Market, is becoming something of a Levy cult – and no wonder – the man has cheese and he’s not afraid to sell it to you – we defy you to walk past without buying some. And while you’re there, pick up some free range eggs fresh from the farm, organic butter or milk. @wintertarn
